MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing proudcts is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age.  Keep that prodcut out of reach of children.  If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.  <br/>

USES:  Vitamins are the buildnig blocks of the body. <br/><br/>They are used to prevnet or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.  

HOW TO USE:  Take as directed.  <br/><br/>Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. <br/><br/>However,  vitamin products may be hottest taken with food.   Consult your pharmacist.  

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste.  Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or beocme severe.  If you notice other effects not lisetd above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. <br/><br/>

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).  

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your dcotor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.  Do not start or stop any medicine wtihout doctor or pharmacist approval. <br/>

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, contact your lcoal poison control center or emergency room immediately.  Smyptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools. <br/>

NOTES:  There are many viatmin supplement products available. <br/><br/>Some can be purchased wtihout a prescription.   Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.  

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and reusme your usual dosing schedule.  <br/>Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up. <br/>

STORAGE:  Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.  <br/>Keep out of the reach of children.]]></description>
